Periodically, the Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District puts out RFP’s (Requests For Proposals) for various projects. Below you will find links to any upcoming RFP’s in PDF format.


 RFP IT Services

 We will have a walk-through of the main office on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1 PM.  Our office is located at 4150 Temescal Street in Fair Oaks, CA.  You do not need to RSVP for the walk-through and it is not required, but if you have any questions please call Jennifer Larkin at 916-966-1036.

The Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District is seeking proposals from qualified, professional technology vendors for Information Technology (IT) Support Services. The qualified vendor will provide necessary technical services which will enable the District to:

  • Protect and secure its data and technology;
  • Ensure the efficient operation of its data processing networks and related computer systems in its defined user community;
  • Enhance its quality of service for the District;
  • Minimize the spending and maximize the return-on-investment in technology.

Proposals must be received no later than Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.  No faxes or e-mails shall be accepted. Proposals received after that date and time shall not be accepted.  The proposals fixed annual cost, shall be submitted in a separate, sealed envelope from the proposal.  All proposals shall remain firm for 90 days following closing date for receipt of proposals. The proposer must provide one original and three copies of the proposal at the time of submission to:

11/10/2015     Walkthrough and On-Site Assessment

11/13/2015     Last day for written requests for clarification. Requests received after this date will not receive a response.  All requests for clarification and responses will be shared with all vendors via posting on the District’s website (

11/25/2015     Sealed bids/proposals are due by 3:00 p.m.

12/03/2015     Interviews (if necessary)

12/04/2015     District staff selects vendor.

12/16/2015     Selected vendor recommended to District Board of Directors.

12/17/2015     Contract executed with vendor.

01/01/2016     Agreement period begins.
