Program for Active Senior Adults (PASA)
ALWAYS ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS!! PASA is a fun and social organization designed to promote wonderful recreation activities for senior adults. Meetings are held on Wednesdays and doors open at 10:00 am with the Meetings beginning at 11:00am. Bingo and a raffle are some activites held at meetings, guest speakers or other entertainment may also be at meetings. Bi-Monthly newsletters are sent out to members. It is very easy to become a member of PASA. You are allowed to attend 3 meetings before having to pay dues. Dues at $10 per year. Meetings are held in the Community Clubhouse Lower Level (7997 California Ave, Fair Oaks,CA 95628)
Zumba Gold is a dynamic dance fitness work out inspired by Latin and International rhythms. It is designed specifically for beginners, active adults and participants new to fitness. Safe and easy to follow, this one hour class will feature rhythms like merengue, cha-cha, salsa, tango, belly dance and more! Class is $26 ($23 res) per month and is held on Mondays from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Community Clubhouse (7997 California Ave., Fair Oaks, Ca 95628)
Ink & Oil on Glass & One-Stroke Acrylic Painting
Join this class and have fun learning to paint with ink and oil on glass and “one stroke” basic acrylic painting of florals. No artisitc talent is needed. You will be able to paint animals, roses, sunflowers, daisies and much more! Class is $33 for 10 classes, and are held on Thursdays from 1:30pm-4:00pm in the Arts and Craft Building (7997 California Ave., Fair Oaks, Ca 95628 – next to Community Clubhouse)
A low impact exercise class specially designed for senior citizens taught by Sharon Shute. Improve muscular endurance and flexibility , as well as cardio-respiratory and aerobic fitness. Meet new friends, and feel more vibrant and healthy. Class is held Monday-Thursday from 9:35am-10:30am in the Community Clubhouse (7997 California Ave., Fair Oaks, Ca 95628 ). Class is $2.50 per class or purchase a punch card for $9 good for 4 classes.
Senior Drop In Pinochle
This FREE, fun social gathering is an informal program. Individuals may “drop in” for a game or pinochle, or other card games. Although there is no formal program, refreshments and cards are available. Group meets on Thursdays from 9:00am-1:00pm in the Clubhouse Lower Level (7997 California Ave., Fair Oaks, Ca 95628)
Come and join us the 2nd Monday of every month for a good movie, popcorn, coffee and tea — ALL FREE! Bring a sack lunch or snack to enjoy during the movie. Doors open at 10:15am/Movies start at 10:30a, in the Clubhouse Lower Level (7997 California Ave., Fair Oaks, Ca 95628) .
