Before the Chicken Fest “Egg Dance & BBQ” – Friday, September 14th!!!! The Fair Oaks Host Lions Club will be bringing back the Pre-Festival BBQ this year. It will be in Village Park starting at 5:30pm. BBQ Dinner, Live Entertainment, Beverages, Raffle Prizes, and much more. Come out and get Festive the night before the BIG DAY! 8:00am to 11:00am – “Old Fashioned Country Breakfast”

Sponsored by the Orangevale/Fair Oaks Grange
Location: Fair Oaks Community Club House, upper level

$5.00 per person (tickets at the door)
An old fashioned farm breakfast featuring Ham, scrambled eggs, hot cakes, and biscuits & homemade gravy. Coffee, hot chocolate, hot cider, tea, and O.J.— a great way to start your day at the Festival.

10:00am to 6:00pm – Music to Sooth the Savage Chickens

Location: On the Chicken Festival Stage – Plaza Park (7003 Park Drive)

10:00am to 6:00pm – Food and Craft Vendors

Location: In and Around the Village of Fair Oaks

10:00am to 6:00pm – Kids Park

Location: Village Park

Come and enjoy the Kids Park! For only $5 per child receive an UNLIMITED wristband that includes: unlimited games, inflatables, and one (1) face painting. All wristband sales end @ 5pm. Also, be sure to check out the kid friendly performances and booths. Please check back soon for the kid friendly performance schedule.

11:30am to 5:30pm – Microbrew Beer Tasting – Presented by the Fair Oaks Rotary Foundation

Location: American River Bank Parking Lot

While you are at this year’s Chicken Festival, join with others who are looking for a break and come to the Fair Oaks Rotary Foundation Beer Tasting and music venue in the American River Bank parking lot in the Village at the East End of Fair Oaks Blvd.
